Spanning over 25 years, Buzz has been able to teach hundreds of students to play for their own enjoyment or as their profession.
Buzz Axe Guitar Studio's mission is to foster a love for music and give each student the tools and knowledge to express the music inside of them.
Buzz Axe's approach to teaching starts with designing a program based on the goals of each student. It has been found that a student is more motivated to apply themselves when they learn music they listen to and are familiar with. There is something to be learn in all styles of music, be it blues (delta,electric,slide), country (bluegrass, modern), rock (pop, thrash, heavy metal, classic), jazz, classical, traditional fiddle music, world (middle-eastern, Latin).
At the end of each lesson a video is made, recapping what has been studied then put on a USB thumb drive (provided by the student). This video can be reviewed at home throughout the week. This takes the pressure off the student to remember every detail of the lesson, freeing up their energy to enjoy themselves and have fun.
Buzz Axe Guitar Studio also offer lessons online through Skype.
