Description

Biography:

Matthew Dorko has been studying, writing and performing with the guitar for over 30 years. He has been teaching Improvisation, Theory and Technique in a variety of styles for over a decade. Much of his childhood was spent in New Orleans,where he was deeply influenced by that city's rich musical heritage. At The University of new Orleans, he was fortunate enough to study with Jazz patriarch Ellis Marsallis, and other great players who helped shape his approach to the jazz and improvisation in general.
