Biography: |
David offers private guitar instruction at Cerritos College, four music stores in Southern California, and out of his home studio 7 days a week. He teaches in Long Beach, Lakewood, Bellflower, Yorba Linda, and Newport Beach. For an increased fee, he also will travel to your home.
David's primary style is Classical as he earned his Master's and Bachelor's Degrees in Classical Guitar Performance from California State University, Fullerton. He also teaches rock students (as he played rock guitar during his youth and is a huge rock music fan), how to read music, technical fundamentals, music theory, ear training, improvisation, practice discipline, and performance enhancement skills. David draws inspiration from the method books, etudes, psychology books, and repertoire collections used to teach guitar over the past 500 years.
